I write historical fiction exploring exile, migration, belonging, and the ways in which people rebuild their lives.

For me, home has never been just one place. Born in Hong Kong, I grew up across South Africa, Ireland and the Netherlands, and am now based in the United Kingdom. These experiences shaped my interest in identity, belonging, and the idea of home, and inform my writing.

Stories of people in transition lie at the heart of my work, especially those negotiating loss, forming new connections, and finding ways to begin again in unfamiliar places.
